Guang Chiang ( teochew traditional kueh)

I saw this on astro during CNY, which brings back childhood memory. Tried the recipe recommended on the programme CNY Comfort Food. The recipe calls for jicama, radish, yam and groundnuts. Seasonings are white pepper and salt. Mix shredded vegetables with rice flour, corn flour and seasonings. Make sure its sticky and do not add too much flour, else the flavour, will be covered by the flour. Wrap mixture with soy bean sheet, then steam for 20 minutes, Cool them the cut into pieces b4 deep frying them.

Best to eat with my mum's child sauce (fresh chilies cili padi for extra kick, garlic, little ginger - optional, sugar, vinegar, salt)
