Broccoli & ham quiche

At last i made my own shortcrust pastry. Not bad after such a long time...have been following "Kitchen Flavours".. so got some tips from her blog. Pastry was soft, a bit flaky but smells so nice with the aroma from the butter.

Chicken & mushroom ham tarts

I followed this recipe by "Kitchen flavours".. she made very nice pies, tarts & quiches. I would say this is more like a quiche to me. I cheated/save time by using store bought shortcrust pastry.

Happy Chinese New Year 2015!

This year our reunion dinner was a Japanese themed dinner. Jen & I sweat out this special meal for our beloved family.

Miso soup, chawanmushi and takikomi rice
teriyaki pork
steamed cod fish with pan seared scallops & asian pesto
ebi tempura
homemade yee sang
stir fry lotus roots with mix veg
