"Chicken" Shepherd's Pie

Yoo Hoo! finally the water rationing is off. To celebrate it i made this easy "chicken" shepherd's pie. Boys loved them and they are super easy to make. I followed the recipe by Veronica's kitchen.

Penang Assam Laksa

Went to the market with ma this morning. Her reliable fishmonger was selling fresh ikan kembong...which tempted her to make assam laksa. It was delicious!

This is a very special year for us as we spent our CNY in KL after so many years going abroad during CNY. It's also special because we have our reunion dinner at our own house... not at bro's.

Made these prawn toast for breakfast one day.. Quite a hit with my takers except Jaden who does not like prawns..

Our christmas tree was up 2 weeks ago as the boys was pestering me to put it up.. still have not get  presents for everyone..

We visited Pavilion KL on one of the weekends... the deco is very nice.. like a winter wonderland.

Nyonya Perut Ikan

We are so lucky today ... Ma cooked pert ikan with Christine's help. Perut ikan is a classic penang nyonya dish with fish stomach, veggies and herbs.

Ma's Khao Yok & Curry Kapitan Chicken

Whoa!!... today got rezeki... ma cooked Khao Yok or steamed pork with yam & Curry Kapitan Chicken. I particularly like curry capitan as it has the spicy & sour taste with the aromatic smell of kaffir lime which is very appetising. The pork yam was very aromatic as Ma had them marinated overnight. woohoo! war a feast!!
