Onigirazu

Today i tried a new version of "rice sandwich" which is trending in Japan. I made 2 types of onigirazu, one is egg & ham while the other is chicken teriyaki.

Anchovy quiche

Tried  a new quiche recipe today by Prego. Quite simple to make and delicious too. I had it with a cup of homemade espresso..... perfect afternoon snack! yummy!

It's about time... i got a new toy from a redemption.. its my first food processor, thanks to Keat!. I tried out making shortcrust pastry..influenced from tv cooking shows.. hehehe...here's the first product...

At last i made my own shortcrust pastry. Not bad after such a long time...have been following "Kitchen Flavours".. so got some tips from her blog. Pastry was soft, a bit flaky but smells so nice with the aroma from the butter.

I followed this recipe by "Kitchen flavours".. she made very nice pies, tarts & quiches. I would say this is more like a quiche to me. I cheated/save time by using store bought shortcrust pastry.

Baked chicken pasta with minestrone soup

Not updating my blog for sometime now. Fear Jean will not add me anymore hahaha....Well one of the reasons was I have been repeating some of the previous food and busy with some other things.

Ok I made these easy baked chicken pasta and minestrone soup today. The baked chicken is super easy yet delicious. Recipe from good food channel uk. Use chicken breast or whole chicken and throw in some fresh rosemary, lemon, garlic, bay leaf and drizzle with some olive oil. The baked till cook. Voila!
