"Pho"

I love the vietnamese noodle "Pho". Found a shop at Setiawalk, but they gave very little Thai basil for our noodles. Made my version of "Pho" today and of course with loads of home grown fragrant thai basil.

Productive thursday

Christine recently gave me a cookbook by Gordon Ramsay. Flipped thru and tried this vermicelli salad with thai dressing.

Jaden requested his animal shaped pasta. Made this pasta with Leggo's chunky pasta sauce with capsicum, mushroom & herbs. I added pork ham & chicken sausages.

Ma prepared sambal buah "binjay" which i had craving during my pregnancy but did not get to eat any.. Bro somehow found it at one of the rest stop to Melaka. Its a complete meal with fried ikan kembung.

Jaden's birthday celebration

Once again we gathered to celebrate Jaden's birthday. He requested Jen to make him a vanilla cake with chocolate cream.. Ma brought the fried noodles & red eggs for her grandson..He also ordered the rest of the food shown below for his guests.

Open-face egg sandwich

Jen baked some wholemeal bread. Spread some egg fillings on the bread for the boys' breakfast. Light & delicious.

Mom & Jen prepared nasi lemak for lunch. They made curry chicken, sambal so tong, assam prawns and fried "kiam hu".

"Krabby Patty" and triangle rice (Onigiri)

The boys especially Jaden was so fond of spongebob's krabby patty and requested me to make the burgers for them.
