My new dogs - Panda & Chez

 It's almost 2 years since the departure of Chiki, frankly I still miss her so much😔. She will always be in my heart.

On 8 Nov, Keat and Jaden surprised me by adopting Panda. They picked her up from a lady who rescue strays.  Panda doesn't look healthy when she got home as  she has worms in her  intestine and  rejected food. We rushed her to the animal hospital when she vomitted and had diarrhoea. Eventually after lots of prayers, some medication and force feeding, she got better.

As for Chez, she was adopted on 9 Nov when we picked her at an animal grooming shop. She was taken care by an aunty since birth but was put up for adoption. Totally different character from Panda, she is very active, playful but timid.

Lately she has parasite attack as her immune system got weak, hereditary from her mom.

Cranberry yogurt cake

Got some leftover cranberries in the fridge and what a coincidence, my elder sister posted a cranberry cake recipe on her website, "Mama Ding's Kitchen". Tried and it's delicious. For any other recipes especially our childhood comfort food and nyonya food, I always refer to her website. Thanks tochi!

Japanese cotton cheesecake a.k.a "Uncle Tetsu's" cheesecake

 Ryan requested a Japanese cotton cheesecake. Found this recipe by blogger "Nino's home" and tried it. Also baked some sausage buns for breakfast.

Margherita pizza and Banana kaya

 As Ryan is preparing for his trials, I made breakfast this weekend. Yes, it's his favourite ...pizza. Dough was adapted from blogger "Savor Easy".

1 cup warm water

1 tsp instant yeast

3 cups all purpose flour

1/4 cup oil

1 tsp salt

3 tbsp sugar ( I used 1 tbsp)

Bake at 230C for 20mins or until cheese turns golden brown.

No bake raspberry cheesecake

Bought a packet of frozen raspberries from Tesco and tried out this no bake cheesecake. I like simple to make recipes. First try, still got room for improvement!
